SERVICE CHARTER

The National Council of Persons with Disabilities (NCPD) was established by the law No03/2011 of 10/02/2011 with the purpose of determining its responsibilities, organization and functioning and its relationship with other State organs. This law is among the greatest achievements of Rwandan Government and is based on the United Nations Convention of the rights of the Persons with Disabilities ratified by Rwanda on December 15, 2008 with a purpose of promoting, protecting and ensuring the full and equal enjoyment of all human rights and fundamental freedoms by all Persons with Disabilities and to promote respect for their inherent dignity.
