NATIONAL GENDER STATISTICS REPORT.

National Gender Statistics report, 2016 is produced by the National Institute of Statistics of Rwanda (NISR) in collaboration with the Gender Monitoring Office (GMO) with the support of UN Women through ONE UN. It is from the above background that the National Institute of Statistics of Rwanda (NISR) in collaboration with the Ministry of Gender and Family Promotion (MIGEPROF) and the Gender Monitoring Office (GMO) with the support of UN Women through ONE UN embarked on establishing and strengthening a comprehensive Gender Statistics Framework (GSF) resulting in the report entitled National Gender Statistics Report that reflects the status of gender equality in key development sectors. The aim of the framework is not only to encourage policy debates in particular around gender gaps but also provide quantitative evidences for planning, monitoring and evaluation of programs.
